The James River Basin, located in Southwest Missouri, is a sub-basin of the White River Basin. The area covers Webster, Greene, Christian, Stone, and Barry counties. Cities within the basin include Springfield, Ozark, Nixa, Rogersville, Reeds Spring, Kimberling City, Cassville, Seymour, Marshfield, Strafford, Brookline, Clever, Billings, Republic, Diggins, Fordland, Purdy, Butterfield, Exeter, Washburn, Galena, Crane, and Sparta
