Missouri's Watersheds/Counties
The watershed is a comprehensive and useful management unit that integrates science with historical, cultural, economic, and political issues. Using a watershed approach to education, MoWIN is providing comprehensive watershed education more likely to improve community initiative and networking, integrate small-scale local issues into large-scale watershed planning actions. This holistic approach may enable Missourians the opportunity to take active roles in identifying issues and developing plans for watershed improvement and, subsequently, water quality.
