Missouri's 8-Digit HUCs/Watersheds The watershed is a useful management unit that integrates science with historical, cultural, economic, and political issues. Using a watershed approach to education, MoWIN is providing information to assist with the improvement of community initiatives, networking and integration of small-scale local issues into large-scale watershed planning actions. This holistic approach may enable Missourians the opportunity to take active roles in identifying issues and developing plans for watershed improvement and, subsequently, water quality. This site provides comprehensive watershed information based on Missouri's 8-Digit Hydrologic Unit Codes.
