Watershed Management and Planning Assistance

Watershed planning is a process where local people assess their natural resource conditions and needs, set goals, identify programs and other resources to meet those needs, develop proposals and recommendations, implement solutions, and measure their successes. These plans are developed for a watershed or other geographical area defined by the clients and stakeholders. Plans should address all resource problems identified, and contain alternative solutions that meet the minimum quality criteria set for each resource.
