Point source pollution in the Sac River Basin comes from many different places.   Factories and businesses release their wastewater into the streams. Sewage treatment plants at different towns in the basin also release their treated water into the streams.

Businesses, sewage treatment plants, apartment complexes, and mobile home parks may have permits to release wastes into rivers in the Sac River Basin.  See the following table for a current listing of permitted point source discharges.
