Estimating Soil Using RUSLE - Andrea King
The Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) is a tool to estimate the amount of soil erosion from water. It is a modification of Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). The current version NRCS now uses is RUSLE2, a modification of RUSLE. From this talk you will understand the basic principles in calculating soil loss using RUSLE and what impacts the producer has in preventing soil loss.
