Representative - Paul Calvert

Goals and Objectives: To protect and enhance the fish, forest and wildlife of the state of Missouri.

Goal of the Private Land Services Division is to help Missouri landowners achieve their land use objectives in ways that enhance the conservation of Missouri's natural resources.

Activities: Missouri Land Conservation Guide, in cooperation with MoWIN and NRCS, is being produced through the Private Land Services Division at MDC.

Fisheries has been establishing Basin Plans (Watershed Inventory and Assessment plans) and have put them on the website.  MDC does not use HUCs, but rather basins.  Twenty-two out of 45 basins are available on the website.   These plans have information on geology, urban use problems, issues and challenges, and even fishing reports.

Grow Native - help citizens learn about Missouri's rich array of landscape worthy native plants and how to use them to create beautiful landscapes on their property.
